The Social Ministry, Justice, and Advocacy Committee (SMJA) distributes annual grants to C/SIS communities of disciples or affiliated ministry organizations for outreach experiments.

For information about eligibility and a proposal form, visit CSIS-ELCA.org/smja. Synod mission grants average $500 and must involve connection to a local community of disciples.

The deadline is Dec. 1, and grants will be shared before Christmas so that the joy of Jesus can be spread throughout your local community.
