The saints at Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney packed 150 (more) backpacks and 100 personal care kits for Lutheran World Relief on Sunday, September 29. The confirmation class and those already confirmed were a big part of this, along with the “bigger” saints who showed us the way. We had more help than we knew what to do, so thank you also to those who supervised and cheered us on!
Thank you to those who helped by getting Thrivent grants to purchase these items, and especially for Mark and Dr. Jill Scherer for coordinating all of this. May God be glorified as we continue to walk out our motto “God’s Work. Our Hands.”
