Evelyn Chapel at Illinois Wesleyan University and its Multifaith Ambassador Program invites congregational members and friends of the CSIS to our second annual IWU Interfaith Summit entitled "Common Ground," which will take place at Illinois Wesleyan University March 29-30, 2019. All events during the Summit are free and open to the public. This summit is also co-sponsored by IWU Interfaith, Pride Alliance, and the Secular Student Association.

This year, we are excited to welcome Chris Stedman as our keynote speaker and workshop leader. Stedman is author of "Faithiest: How an Atheist Found Common Ground with the Religious" and is currently a fellow at the Sabo Center for Democracy and Citizenship and at the Christensen Center for Vocation, both at Augsburg University. In addition to these two events, the Summit will feature interactive workshops led by students, staff, and alumni on a variety of interfaith engagement topics; lunch; a service project; and a Multifaith Sending Service.

We are excited to welcome students and community members from different cities and backgrounds to our campus this Spring!

Please email University Chaplain (and ELCA pastor) Elyse Nelson Winger at if you have any questions.
