Everyone is invited to the C/SIS Adult Faith Formation Winter Retreat, December 8-9 at Toddhall Retreat Center in Columbia. Our annual spiritual retreat includes worship, fellowship, and a time of learning. We will better understand those that God sent with messages for God’s people.
The theme for the retreat is “God’s Sheepdogs — Prophets and Prophecy in the Scriptures.” The witness of the prophets permeates the narratives and proclamation of Christian scriptures. Reading and applying them without knowledge of the prophets ignores their many layers of meaning. Our guest presenter will be Dr. Fred Niedner, senior research professor in theology at Valparaiso University.
