Prayers for the Daily Journey
Morning Prayer:
Lord, Shape us through our witness and outreach, that daily we
might be conformed more and more tothe image of your dear Son.
Help us to remember that prayer and service to others constitute
two sides of a single coin, and that you hold the treasure of your
servants close to your heart. Grant to us obedience, faith
and gratitude for your Lordship.
We pray in Jesus’ name, AMEN
Prayer for the Journeys of the Day:
Heavenly Father, Source of All Created Light: As you have blessed all
of Creation with the coming of Your Son, so bless us, your people, that
this Light may lead us into humble service in your kingdom. Tune our
hearts to sense opportunities to reach those around us with the grace you
have shown us in Christ Jesus. Move our hands to serve the needy and the faint of heart. Add our voices to the voices of all the saints who have proclaimed your Holy Gospel through countless generations of humankind. AMEN
