We ask for prayers of support and encouragement for Pastor Tim Bean, and the people of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, De Soto, Illinois. Early this morning a fire was discovered in the church building which has caused extensive damage throughout the entire structure. The fire was fought by several area fire departments. As of 8:30 this morning, it was determined that the fire was of suspicious origin and it is being investigated by the ATF. Once again the congregations of our synod are given the opportunity to respond with support and care. More will be shared as more information is secured.
