What:  Adult Choir,  Director   - Hand Bell Choir Director
Where: St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Vincennes, Indiana

When: Currently accepting applicants  - Employment to begin September 20

·        Adult choir consists of fifteen to twenty volunteer members

·        Two-octave hand bell choir has nine ringers plus substitutes. 

·        Rehearsal and performance schedules as well as the compensation package are negotiable. 

·        Positions may be combined.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY....

 MUSIC DIRECTOR - FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, O’FALLON, IL
POSITION BEGINS: SEPTEMBER 1, 2010

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Ensure the quality of the music program at Faith Lutheran, which includes two traditional services, one Praise service (separate director already in place), senior choir (50 members), children’s choir, four handbell choirs, jazz band, polka band, and a variety of special musical events. Participate in weekly staff meetings.
 
CREDENTIALS:  Bachelor’s or Master’s in music preferred. Proficiency as organist and/or choir director, preferably with a minimum of five years of experience in liturgical music. Must be a Christian.
 
TIME COMMITMENT: 30-32 hours per week
 
SALARY: Negotiable depending upon training, experience, and number of choirs directed
