Pastor Bob Dealey began serving as the Director for Evangelical Mission and part-time Coordinator of Communications and Networking for the Central/Southern Illinois Synod on March 1, 2013. Prior to that, he served as a parish pastor in Kansas, Arkansas and Illinois, having served within the synod at Our Lord’s, Maryville (1997-2006).

He is a graduate of Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS (B.A.); the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Gettysburg, PA (M. Div.); and the Theological School at Drew University, Madison, NJ (D. Min.). He served as an ELCA Partner in Evangelism for twelve years and was the host of “A Glimpse of Hope” radio broadcast for seven years. He has served as the founding President of a local community resource center (thrift store/food pantry) in three locations.

He is available to assist congregations in the following areas: development of missional/strategic plans; outreach and stewardship ministries; communication strategies; new mission starts/renewing congregations and whatever other mission possibilities you would like to discuss.

He is married to Rhonda Peterson and they have four children and four grandchildren.
